La Salle Exposure Camps

The La Salle Baseball Exposure Camp is designed to give prospective student-athletes in 7th and 8th grades an opportunity to interact with current La Salle coaches and players while showcasing their skills on the diamond.  The event format mirrors the first day of tryouts for freshman players at La Salle.  Through a pro-style showcase format, the La Salle coaches will collect measurable data for each player (60-time, arm radar speeds, broad jump, timed shuttle, etc.) as well as subjective measures of both offensive and defensive skillsets.  In addition to the skills portion of the event, players will have the opportunity to further show their skills by competing in simulated game action.  Throughout the event, our knowledgeable and energetic staff composed of current/former La Salle coaches and players will provide proper instruction and drills to enhance the skill level of each individual.  At the conclusion of the event, each player will receive an emailed evaluation scorecard that will serve as a baseline for future development.

All players will received a written evaluation via email in the weeks following the camp.  It will include all measured values from the camp (radar readings, 60-times, broad jump, 5-10-5 agility shuttle, grip strength) as well as subjective numerical scoring of defensive and offensive skills.  Videos from the showcase are included in the assessment along with some instructional videos to offer additional context to the evaluation.

Video Analysis Add-on: Coach Werman will break down your defensive, offensive, and pitching (if applicable) video, offering specific feedback on your technique and suggestions on areas of improvement.  This option can be purchased when you register or can be added separately at any later point (even after you receive your Standard Evaluation).
