Safety & Procedures:
The safety and well-being of all participants at camp is our top priority. We are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where all participants can enjoy the sport of baseball.

Camp Trainer/Nurse: In the event of injury/illness, we have a camp trainer/nurse on staff who is trained in first aid, CPR, and AED use.

Staff with Background Checks: Our staff members have had background checks as required by law. This helps to ensure that our camp is hiring safe and responsible individuals.

Procedures for Abuse: We have procedures in place for reporting abuse. This includes physical abuse, sexual abuse, and emotional abuse. If a camper is being abused, they should report it to a staff member who will take appropriate action.

Health Concerns / Allergies: Please make us aware of any health issues or allergies when completing the Camp Waiver. The camp nurse can safely store an EpiPen as needed and can assist in any other medical needs. If a camper has a food allergy, we recommend providing the camper with their own food, but our cafeteria staff can provide allergy information on all items served.

Reporting of Incidents: We have a system in place for reporting incidents. This includes injuries, illnesses, and incidents of bullying or harassment. If a camper is injured or ill, or if they are being bullied or harassed, they should report it to a staff member who will take appropriate action.

Baseball Safety: Campers will be instructed on rules regarding safely swinging bats and throwing balls. Helmets are to be worn for all hitting drills. Let camp staff know if you need a helmet. Players who are unable to follow the camp rules will be asked to sit out from the activities.

Heat/Inclement Weather: Campers should apply sunscreen and properly hydrate prior to attending camp. When the temperatures are high, we will take additional water breaks in a shaded area. In the event of a thunderstorm, we will move the campers indoors and will notify parents if the camp schedule needs to change.
